FISHING
Chetek and the surrounding area lakes offer some of the finest multi-species fishing opportunities anywhere. Pristine lakes of all sizes are scattered throughout the area, providing excellent fishing for walleyes, pike, muskies, largemouth and smallmouth bass, perch, crappies and sunfish. This area has it all for the seasoned fisherman, as well as for the kid after their first fish.
FISH-O-RAMA
The Chetek Fish-O-Rama committee tags over 400 pan fish annually that have a total value of $50,000.00. If you catch a fish with a cylindrical tag near the dorsal fin, take it to the Rod & Gun Shop and claim you cash reward. Prizes range from $25.00 to $500.00. Fish from previous years are worth from $5.00 to 25.00.
